It sure is nice to see an English front in both the UEFA Cup and Champions League Final... should Boro win the UEFA Cup, Im pretty sure McClaren is gonna be the next England boss cause of the "experience" and "winning ability". My Opinion? Scolari... only he knows how to control players and make England a winning side atleast in the next Euro. McClaren is too cool and nice... players like Becks will just get worse and worse. You need someone who can instill some discipline. Current English managers with the exception of Sam lack that!

Arsenal vs Barcelona looks like a match made in heaven. I dont expect Henry to stand out frankly cause Henry isn't a man for the big game. The game is gonna be won in the middle. Fabregas is gonna be over shadowed by Ronaldinho unless he gets man marked. Anyway hope Arsenal comes out triamphant cause i think you guys cant beat spurs to 4th. I dont expect either team to come back from 3 nil down yet i anticipate an even showdown. Probably the last we see of Henry in an Arsenal jersey.

Cisse's been on fine form of late and come on the lad has promised to tattoo th Liverpool logo should we ever win the league. I say we keep him for one more season and see what he's got. Frankly he hasn't played so many games to prove his worth till of late, in the past he has always been our 70/80th min substitute. Fowler has been class as usual with another assist. Crouch gives another option. Morientes is the man to go! Old and out!

I am sure Fowler's staying! If you tell pool fans you've made up your so early and decide not to keep him... you are really asking for trouble. So cheers to fowler, cause i sincerely believe he is our bergkamp in the making as stated earlier!

Bellamy is good, with real neat goals these days... but then again, we need someone like henry or nistelrooy, the kind where you just score week in and out. Just like what fowler used to do and is doing right now. I say we keep fowler, he may be getting old but hey, he could be like bergkamp for Liverpool. I'm sure he'd be just glad to be at Anfield, besides would you want a player who causes bust ups or would you wanna just keep a lad who is dying to put on the red shirt?

[Gives me the chills]

I'm waiting for the night to fall - Depeche Mode

I'm waiting for the night to fall
I know that it will save us all
When everything's dark
Keeps us from the stark reality

I'm waiting for the night to fall
When everything is bearable
And there in the still
All that you feel is tranquillity

There is a star in the sky
Guiding my way with its light
And in the glow of the moon
Know my deliverance will come soon

I'm waiting for the night to fall
I know that it will save us all
When everything's dark
Keeps us from the stark reality

I'm waiting for the night to fall
When everything is bearable
And there in the still
All that you feel is tranquillity

There is a sound in the calm
Someone is coming to harm
I press my hands to my ears
It's easier here just to forget fear

And when I squinted
The world seemed rose-tinted
And angels appeared to descend
To my surpriseWith half-closed eyes
Things looked even better
Than when they were open

Been waiting for the night to fall
I knew that it would save us all
Now everything's dark
Keeps us from the stark reality

Been waiting for the night to fall
Now everything is bearable
And here in the still
All that you feel is tranquility

296 EXT -- TRAVELING SHOT -- DAY (1967) 296

A gorgeous New England landscape whizzes by, fields and trees a blur of motion. ANGLE SHIFTS to reveal a Greyhound Sceni- Cruiser barreling up the road, pulling abreast of us. CAMERA TRAVELS from window to window, passing faces. We finally come to Red gazing out at the passing landscape.

RED (V.O.)

I find I am so excited I can barely
sit still or hold a thought in my
head. I think it is the excitement
only a free man can feel, a free
man at the start of a long journey
whose conclusion is uncertain...
297 THE BUS 297

ROARS past camera, dwindling to a mere speck on the horizon.

RED (V.O.)
I hope I can make it across the
border. I hope to see my friend
and shake his hand. I hope the
Pacific is as blue as it has been
in my dreams.
(beat)
I hope.

PFA Player of the Year.
Maybe he does deserve it.
I'd have given my vote to Henry instead.

An asswhooping for Chelsea for 60mins before Chelsea woke up.
Haha... Liverpool's in the final!

Alright the worldcup is coming...
Yes thank u starhub for going against your word and charging poor soccerites for watching the matches. Anyway I'm not too concerned cause I'm spending my World Cup in Tekong where I'm sure... the most I will hear would be some smses reporting the key events or results.

Yet, i cant help from supporting someone. Supporting Brazil is the easy way out for most but nope, I'm not going down that road. I thought of England once again... Hmm.. remember supporting them for Euro but ha. Becks n co sucked real bad... besides im tired of their arrogant suggestions to the media and Sven is such an ass. So yeah England too is a strict nono to me...

Then i thought of the african nations who always have an outside chance... remember Senegal?! The guys who beat france and rocked everybody in the first round?! But then again I know nuts about african football with the exception of the one in the S League.

Then i thought of the hosts Germany... but with their boring soccer and coach staying in LA... no way. Then what about the Azzuri whom I supported in the previous world cup soley for Del Piero? Well Del Piero is old and besides I'm sick of him being on the bench.

I wont be surprised if some unknown squad wins the world cup like how Greece won the Euro and how Czech is always near the finals. Yes there is always gonna be your Japans and South Koreas. But Asian team to win the world cup? No way.

The team from downunder can thank their asses if they get past the first round frankly. Argentina looks interesting yet i dont know, i think there is something missing in them this time round without their Maradona and Batistuta.

France looks like a one man army if u ask me and besides yeah henry is not as much of a support internationally as compared to club level... okay okay enough of beating round the bush... here is the team im supporting...

Image hosting by Photobucket

Yeah... i somehow think they have an outside chance to win the piece of gold. Well i dont know... they just seem to have the right balance of young and old all around the pitch, plus the fact that they gotta save their faces for totally missing out from the previous world cup. Well i guess their total football is not that unique anymore, but i guess their style of play and players have the ability to open up any defence. The unique mix of crunching tacklers and dazzling wingers. So yeah... guess i wont be able to watch the games but Go holland Go!

Anyway on a different note... hope liverpool kicks chelseas ass tonight. Cheers!

Black

Your color is black. The color of night. Serene and mysterious, black conjures up images of elegant evening gowns, dashing tuxedos, and gleaming limousines. Traditionally a symbol of success, black also represents power and an uncompromising demand for perfection. Not surprisingly, you tend to set challenging goals for yourself and do whatever it takes to achieve them — your strength of character is second to none. This unfaltering determination, along with your natural elegance, impresses people. But keep in mind that your personality might be intimidating to some. Try to temper your demanding side with a little softness — trust us, it won't kill you. Overall, though, black is the color of professionalism and achievement, which means it's clearly the color for you.
