the wise man.

Ive never had the best of teeth. My teeth grew prematurely after I clasped a blanket at one end in my mouth and my brother pulled the other end trying to take it away from me, causing my first tooth to "uproot" way earlier than expected. What's left are teeth packed like sardines in my mouth.

Now age has hit me and more clowns are trying to grow. It's been hurting badly but I know the pain will depreciate thanks to my previous experience, but at least for now opening has been really tough and painful. Ive been slotting my food into my mouth half the time over the past few days.

Ngee Ann.

Went back to Ngee Ann after a while today, along with two camp mates (who are ex np fellas too). The sudden openness of the school is really shocking and yes we were wondering if we were really in front of NP. Long gone are the walls just behind our bus stop masking our horribly muddy rugby turf and the railings where clowns balanced themselves while smoking; instead now the benches from the Atrium have spilled over, a cheers store with an ultra friendly cashier and a visibly smaller and better maintained turf with the old factory looking buildings in the background.

As usual I had a weird "i know so much" smile on my face as I walked around, visiting blocks and lecture theatres with so much of memories. Checking out spots of the campus known for its sights or smells (the atrium toilet smells just as bad and CTV teevees are the same).

Had my fav "Cream of Chicken" at SIM after walking around quite a bit and saying a huge hello to my mom. Boarded 61 hoping to get even more emo while enjoying the scenery which once made my mornings. However, the lack of sleep hit me hard the moment i boarded the bus and I woke up at Harbour front, a few stops away from home.

I don't know if this is linked but my itunes has been playing porcelain by moby while im doing this post.

The Special One.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I'd like to start this post with my views blogged back in April because my views haven't really changed much:

"I think it is managers who keep a league at its best and not its soldiers. Look at Ronaldinho, crowned king by the media last season, this season the media turned around and branded him fat.

No matter how much we hate Mourinho, I don't want him to leave, it wouldn't just be a loss to Chelsea, but rather the entire league."

Face it, I've been bad with predictions, I thought he'd leave before the start of the season and he didn't. When he left, I started telling my bunkies that Rijkaard would be next at the Bridge and no it didn't happen. Forget that for now.

Surprisingly, I was never happy upon hearing the news of his departure. I think it's a loss to the league and think his character is irreplaceable. I tried googling for a snap to replicate the kind of arrogance he swayed for the past couple of years on our screens and was left with nothing to show the kind of style he had, frankly I idolised his charisma despite my hatred towards him for his comments and his inability to accept defeat.

I can't repeat myself anymore, its a huge LOSS.

Now I've another prediction to make. Spurs to sack Jol and hopefully Mourinho returns to another london club with revenge on his mind. I hope. It's a far cry but I hope.

This rose has been lying in my pc for a while and Ive been waiting for the right moment to put it up but i don't see such an occasion coming too soon so I'll just randomly place it here. I think I snapped it almost a year ago.

Ive never been a fan of flowers and never will be.

Mexico.

The other day I was at Naresh's place and I was placed in front of tons of movies (which beats you or me) and told to pick one to be tested on his projector room with surround speakers.

I'm sorry but despite all those movies staring at me; there was only one that I could choose.

Some Lovin.

We saw this cat under one of our blocks and Fung min and Nivi started petting it and just then started an interesting conversation:

Fung Min: Surprisingly it's not afraid of us.

Nivi: Ofcourse, it's a stray...

Fung Min, Nivi and I finally got together to have a little dinner and time together today since we were all home. So here are the snaps and laughs.

We went to Chom Chom for dinner, yes it was our first time heading to serangoon gardens and I think it was worth the travel. Pretty decent food at a pretty decent price.

Ok you must already be sick of all those food snappies, it was an ultimate feast for our bottomless pits; and so we decided it was time for a group shot. We asked the aunty from whom we bought the carrot cake from to be of some assistance, she in turn asked the store besides hers to help us, a cleaner intervenes and volunteers to help. He started off with the lense facing him, we spent a few seconds trying to ensure he flipped the camera over, then he side stepped around to get us into the frame on the digi camera, pressed a few keys which we had to cancel and finally snapped it with us laughing uncontrollably. The uncle was a great sport and our thank yous went out to him.

Bang Bang.

Now he's gone, I don't know why
And till this day, sometimes I cry
He didn't even say goodbye
He didn't take the time to lie.

Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound

Bang bang, my baby shot me down...

Just got home from Obar/Double O after a night out with my cousin who's down from Crystal Palace, Brother, Funky (who just turned 21) and Nivi.

Bumped into many faces that matched suddenly.
The bottom line: Im slashed.

Some snaps were taken to remind me of the night I just spent.
I will update them when they finally land in my custody if i think they're "up loadable"

For now, i just need a shower and am gonna hit the bed cause Im supposed to head out really early.

Life.

Ive just finished reading Hullabaloo in the Guava Orchard by Kiran Desai. It made me think quite a bit. The story placed short, is about a lad who gets sick of stuff and climbs up a tree and is soon misunderstood to be a sage. It's much deeper actually, questioning certain aspects of us amids the humor splashed in the book.

We live in a really funny world, or rather we've made this a really funny home. I'm sure you've met at least one person out there, who's damaging the reputation of humans with their behaviour. I think I've met enough people who actually need therapy and yet live in denial. I think it's really sad, I wish therapy was much cheaper and much more accessible and wasn't as taboo as it is today.

I mean I wish it wasn't as hard as being frank to a friend and telling "hey you need therapy". Your friend wouldd probably ditch you I'd guess.

I've seen enough people who have it all, yet they look at all the negatives in life and drown themselves in sorrow. Claiming to have gone through the worst in life and that they deserve to rot in that little shell scrape they've dug themselves.

It's absurd seriously.

I don't know how much this sense this entry makes, but these thoughts have been lingering in my mind, maybe now you'd think i too need therapy. I don't know.

I read a poster in the loo placed just above the urinal and it made me think, "I was upset that I couldn't buy the shoe in the store today, until I met a man who didn't have a leg."

Afterall it's just a poster, it could make you think too, but I hope it sparks a change.

Good Night Singapore.

It has been a while since Liverpool actually thrash'd someone.
It has been even longer since Liverpool actually signed someone who knew where the goal is.

The mark given at the start was 20 for him, 3 down...
17 to go.

Twat.

And so its one of those days.
When you want time for you.
Just you.

Walking around, taking photos.
aimlessly.

she volunteers to provide company.
you didnt even ask.
you arent sure yet you say okay.

so
now there's company.
you expect someone.

no matter how you try to be alone.
you know someone's coming.
you wait for that arrival.

she doesn't arrive.
finally she tells you to carry on.

sorry, she doesnt even tell it to you.
she messages you.

its not a one off.
this is strike 3.

in terms of baseball,
"You're out!"
