Nothing really changed things till today. Congratulations to the sister Naresh on finally tying the knot! Im really happy for him and the wonderful world he's now caught himself in.

my priceless partner accompanied me to this dream getaway of mine. After postponing this trip twice due to bad weather, it finally happened today.

Deepavali @ Shalini's Place.

It was nice going over to Shalini's place, bumping into the people in her inner/outer circle. For once a purple room didn't look claustrophobic and I seriously love the little corner I've taken up in her wardrobe. The food was excellent and I'm glad Lancer wasn't too pissed at me for stealing his Sexyback.

Oh and I met the characters of their inside joke, "ping pong" and "tiger beer".

I left her place at one in the morning.





And so today I met Naresh at LJS in City hall and introduced Shalini to him, his prime lens is a bomb and I'm hoping to upload the test shots as soon as I receive them. We made up for missing out on snapping together yesterday.

The Curse.

The euro's coming and that can only be good news to all the blokes who missed the previous world cup thanks to MINDEFs well measured enlistment snail mails.

After my fallen love for the Italians post Euro 04, I was wondering last night whom I should waste my breath and a few entries bragging about cum Euro 08 and I thought I had found my team.



I was stunned by how the Italians were crumpling cause of the waves of scottish attacks that just kept coming their way. A couple of goal line clearances and a few decisions favoring the Italians aided them big time.

At a point last night, the prospect of the Scots qualifying and the English staying home was just too good a prospect. The brilliant fearless attacking play against the Italians wooed me, but just as I had made up my mind, my curse had set in.

Right at the death, and I woke up this morning hearing that the pussy boys have the Israelis to thank.

Maybe it's a sign that I should just remain a neutral.

Hope you haven't sinned like I did, being forced to a trucks load of mutton chops.

In the name of Arty Farty.

Over the past few years, u and i've seen funny things in the name of looking arty farty. Some stop it with the glasses, some tuck in, while others go to the extend of their suspenders and dressing funny.

I've seen a sudden increase of clowns with huge glasses, mostly mouldy and disgusting looking; mostly stolen from their dads. I attribute the trend in old over sized specs to the sudden sore eyes phenomena that's been taking over my squadron.

Half of the spotters are skinny, wearing glasses twice the size of their faces; a look that I thought would never live past the Halloween party at Zouk.




As weird as the men above look, they're as arty as it gets in Chennai. I wonder when we'd start seeing people in shades and a yellow scarf roaming around our streets. As extreme as it may sound, I wouldn't be surprised if something as weird as this occurs.
