Ipod Alert.

U must have spent your savings investing on the fad. A costly one, enjoying all those ripped songs n stolen songs. Here's the warning, mine crashed on me today. The dreaded screen which left me pressing every button and scrolling the click wheel never like before. Everything failed and I started regretting buying my ipod.

Then i wondered if they'd exchange it for a new one, but then again my warranty has expired. I started thinking of an alternative music source to plug my brand new selfish headies into. Then i found a cure through a blog.

Here's the simple step to reverse a crash:

Hold down your menu and select button for 6 secs.

It worked for me.

Love from above.

“In battle, in the forest
at the precipice in the mountains
On the dark great sea
in the midst of javelins and arrows

In sleep
in confusion
in the depths of shame
The good deeds a man has done before defend him”

- The Bhagavad Gita.

Broth.

It was a late friday night and so Nivi Funky n I decided to head down to Glutton Bay for some nice supper, but then again I was actually nursing a sore throat so I had to be rather picky.

I went up to this store on the extreme right selling what looked like steamboat which I felt was the only alternative I was left with, since all the other stores fried practically everything.

The lady there was top at selling, seriously if you have a product and wanna sell it, you should go to her. She started off by remarking about how nice my shirt apparently was, then she tried pushing the most expensive set after allowing me to try her two soup bases which were "tom yam" and plain broth. When I highlighted about my evil throat and asked if the soup was good stuff for it, she answered "its good for your lungs"; totally avoiding my question.

Here comes the shocker of it all, when I finally ordered my food, she went "the broth is very good for you; you'll be an animal in bed tonight" and gave me a weird smile. I had a shocked expression and went, "er... yeah thank you".

And so I was just telling the guys, if something were to happen, it'd be my leftie working on an overdose tonight.

The Parcel.

And so we were given a token called the "GST offset package" to help us cope with the GST hike. The happiness must've lasted a few days before that money disappeared at the nearest eatery or on that new pair of shoes you must've lost by now. I spent mine in a matter of hours.

GST. Something which never really affected or I even bothered about. Yes I grumbled like you when news of the increase was first released.

I only felt the pinch when I saw my hp bill today. Im being charged 5 bucks on just GST.

Suddenly im fuming and regretting that I actually finished that package.

One Caress. Depeche Mode.

Well Im down on my knees again
And I pray to the only one
Who has the strength
To bear the pain
To forgive all the things that Ive done

Oh girl
Lead me into your darkness
When this world is trying its hardest
To leave me unimpressed
Just one caress
From you and Im blessed

When you think youve tried every road
Every avenue
Take one more look
At what you found old
And in it youll find something new

Im shying from the light
I always loved the night
And now you offer me eternal darkness

I have to believe that sin
Can make a better man
Its the mood that I am in
That left us back where we began

Oh girl
Lead me into your darkness
When this world is trying its hardest
To leave me unimpressed
Just one caress
From you and Im blessed

Boys.

An image which had the three of us laughing away trying to name each and everyone from our primary 2 class photo. Its funny how everyone has changed and most of us are still in contact thanks to the wonderful invention branded as Friendster.

I had fun looking at the harsh reminder of who we once were. I think the emotions within me are just too overwhelming to be put in words.

Er.

And so i felt it was time i started taking my brother's kids out every now and then and so i took up the challenge of taking my niece out for a movie today the moment my brother suggested the idea.

Everything went smooth and I just felt everything was in control till she said,
"Kochapa (which means Uncle), I need to go to the toilet."

Headies.

And so I threw out my crappy baseless ipod earplugs for a new pair of headphones from audio technica. Took me a while to decide on getting headies instead of earies, then again i don't see the need to share my music with anyone in the near future. The band seems a little flimsy but the sound is excellent.

They cost me just 33 from the heeren and i heard of it through Urban. Worth a try id say. Btw mine's the white one with the woodish brown fittings.
