|Misunderstood.
My name is simple.
Manoj.
Just 5 alphabets.
Some of the trademark errors in pronouncing it.
Manjo (Get it all the time)
Mano
Manjoth
Manoth
Mango (Still trying to figure this)
Its as simple as just reading the 5 alphabets the way they should be pronounced and it's really tough to go off tangent. It isn't as complicated as trying to pronounce arnold schwarzenegger or something which should be pronounced totally different from what you see on the surface like thierry henry.
Sometimes I think it's a shame when people can't pronounce just 5 alphabets. I once had a math tutor called Mr Fok, ignoring his own interesting name, he argued that my name should have been spelt as "Manjo".
I went to the clinic today and the lady at the pharmacy screws up big time with my name once again. I hate it when my name is shouted out wrongly in public and I've so given up on trying to correct such stuff. So she decides to name me "Manoth!", like some dinosaur or something, she sees me getting up with the corner of her eye. She could have just stopped there, but no! The lady who cant pronounce 5 alphabets decides to go on trying to juggle my family name and dads name all at once (Prabhoda Chandran)!
By now I'm like rushing to her to avoid the wonderful public humiliation while she gives up after the first 3 alphabets of the rest of my name. She shys a smile and asks me how my name should be pronounced, I say at as clear as possible, she smiles and tries repeating after me going all wrong once again.

Bamboo Banger.
My tongue's numb right now.
I went to watch soccer at my 2nd brothers place.
Beer, Vodka and Japanese Rice wine with weird fruits in the bottle.
Really bad combination.
It's Onam tomorrow.
A really big deal for Malayalees.
Happy Onam to all malayalees in advance!
Cheers.

Jai Hinth!
31 states
6 union territories
1618 languages
6400 castes
6 religions
29 major festivals
One country.
My mom stood up with pride while watching the video below of India's best vocalists from across the nation strung together by one of the best composers; doing a rendition of their national anthem.
I think it's a really powerful anthem despite not knowing what they're singing.

Help.
I think we should all give back to society in our very own simple way. Be it your 10cents donation or your valuable participation in an event, we can make a difference. Ive been contemplating about things associated to life and suddenly realise we don't have much time afterall.
I used to tell myself that I will spend time at different homes talking to people at around 25, now Ive pushed that date till post retirement (should i be blessed to live that long). Yes shame on me.
I seriously applaud the brain behind "Post Secret"; the blog where you and i can send a postcard saying just about anything. I like the tranquility it awards some and the happiness it gives the ka-pohs who read em. Im going to buy the book. I love the emotions behind so many of the cards; I thought of sending one myself. Then again, I felt I wasn't hurt or had enough of a strong point to put across in comparison to the stuff on the blog, so I dropped the idea.
Here's the trailer.

Mama Mia!

Im seriously in love with everything about her.
Her interesting back story.
Her style.
Her music.
M.I.A.s what she calls herself on her albums.
Sri Lankan pride making waves in the UK currently.
She's got a pretty nice track with Timbaland and is currently touring with Gwen Stefani.
I like the whole original Indian touch in her stuff.
Some songs are like mixed with some oldie tamil and hindi tracks.
Good stuff I'd say. Worth a try. You might just love it.
Her new album's called Kala.
Enjoy.

42nd.
and so my family was one of the few which were invited to my airbase to watch the jets take off towards the Marina waterfront. We were given a wonderful "march past" by the jets followed by some nice aerial displays before they headed down to city hall.
truly mesmerising.
Happy 42nd Singapore.
